The ways for sealing
There are two ways to seal up with a machine
The ‘cut-and-seal method’ is to cut polyethylene tubes and then sealed.
The seal-and-cut method is to seal them and then cut.
・cut-and-seal
In this method, the polyethylene tube is cut before the seal, so that no tension is applied to the seal during feeding, which means that the seal part does not stretch and a thick-walled seal is possible. our comparison shows a difference in seal strength of more than 25% and this is our production method.
・seal-and-cut
This method seals the polyethylene tube before cutting. (The polyethylene tube is connected when the seal is made.) Therefore, tension is applied to the sealed part when the tube is fed to the next process, causing the sealed part to stretch. Elongation means thinning, which makes it difficult to improve the strength of the seal ‘at the point of sealing’.
